We believe every child deserves a healthy start in life. Getting the balance right in the early years can have a positive impact on a child’s long‑term health and development. This is the time when food preferences are being formed and children are becoming more active.  Meal times should be both happy and social, where different, healthy foods are tasted and eating skills can be developed.

NEWTEC nurseries’ offer a four-weekly menu rotation. All of our menus include a morning snack, afternoon snack and a hot two-course lunch. NEWTEC are also happy to provide a vegetarian option if required and cater for those with food intolerances. 

All food is freshly cooked on site each day using fresh ingredients and fresh fruit and vegetables. Drinks are available throughout the day including; milk, water and diluted fruit juice.

All of our meals are carefully planned to meet the individual needs and requirements of each child and our nurseries are regularly inspected by the local authority, to ensure we are meeting standards and adhering to required procedures.

If you have any specific requirements or special dietary requirements, please inform the Nursery Manager and we will cater for your child on an individual basis.
